James Heft is the Alton Brooks Professor of Religion and the President of the Institute for Advanced Catholic Studies at the University of Southern California.  Father Heft is an engaging speaker and his talk promises to be entertaining.  Join us for a free lunch.

Father Heft is the author/editor of 11 books and more than 150 articles and book chapters.  Previously, he served as the Chancellor and Provost of the University of Dayton, and as the Chair of the American Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.  His research interests includes Interfaith Studies, Catholic higher education, and religion and violence.  He is an ordained priest in the Society of Mary.
