    Wicca observance of the first harvest of the year involving agricultural fesitvals and prosperity magic. The Christian name of Lammas is sometimes used.

  • Fast in Honor of the Holy Mother of Jesus - Orthodox Christian

    Begins the Orthodox Christian 14 day fasting period in preparation for the celebration of the Great Feast of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary.
